Our experienced vets are available in the mornings and afternoons to see your pets for general and annual check ups, or anything that you may be concerned about with your pet, we are here to help.
HOME VISITS
VACCINATIONS
Vaccines have revolutionised control of infectious diseases in our pets. Our vets are able to inform you on what vaccine protocol is recommended to protect your loved ones immunity.
SURGERY
We offer a range of surgical procedures including routine desexing, soft tissue surgeries, lump removals, orthopaedic surgeries, and emergency procedures.
xray and ultrasound
Our hospital is fully equipped with our own X-ray machine and ultrasound machine to help us diagnose your pets condition and start treatment earlier than before.
EMERGENCY CARE
In the case of your pet needing emergency medical treatment, we provide immediate care and assessment by our experienced vet and nurses. No appointment needed.
DENTAL CARE
Dental problems in pets can be quite painful and can often cause difficulty when chewing and eating. We offer a full range of dental services for your pet including 'scale and polish' and surgical tooth extractions.
free nurse checks
Our wonderful nurses do one on one health checks, puppy checks, dental checks, and seniors check ups all free of charge for you and your pets benefit.
We understand that for some pets, a trip to the vet is a stressful experience, or that they are are unable to fit into the car or unable to move at all. For these pets we offer a home visit service so we can examine them in the comfort of their own home!
laboratory and pathology
Our hospital is equipped with an in-house laboratory that allows us to achiever a fast and accurate diagnoses for your pet. Common lab tests include, biochemistry (organs), complete blood count, blood clotting times, urinalysis, faecal tests, biopsy examinations, cultures and infectious disease testing.
physiotherapy & acupuncture
These additional therapies really help pets suffering osteoarthritis, back pain/ injuries, post operative orthopaedic surgeries and many more conditions.

OUR CLINIC
Heritage Vets is a beautiful heritage listed building and a small animal clinic with a team of dedicated experienced vets and nurses with a passion for everything animals! Heritage Vets was established in 2013 and is owned and run by Dr Kristina Lightfoot.

We are very passionate and an enthusiastic team dedicated to helping your pets well being, and making them feel comfortable and secure in a safe environment. Our entire team invest themselves emotionally in each and every pet as well as professionally so you can be assured that your loved one is in the best of hands.

We currently have 5 vets, 6 qualified veterinary nurses and 1 trainee veterinary nurse. We love each and every one of your pets and strive to make yourself and your pet feel welcome as soon as you walk through our door with a warm hello and of course a liver treat for your pet!
